In an important scene early in season 1, Darby interacts with Ray (AI assistant), getting the lowdown on all the guests and how they are connected to Bill and Andy. Production had beautifully projected this scene with slides and video playing on the wall and behind Darby. The real projection on set helped guide us for a realistic composite, providing excellent reference for how the light interacts with the wall and the foreground. With the guidance of Aaron Raff and Blake Holland, BLP developed the visual language for Ray's user interface and motion graphics and how he would disseminate information. We like to think we did mega-intelligent Ray justice with this slick motion graphics sequence. Made with painstaking 'replace the the hair edges' tenacity at Big Lazy Panda.
